Terms of use

Provider and purchase

BenchDock is the trading name used for this software, provided from Belgium. Enterprise and VAT number: BE 0805.149.884. Support and privacy: contact@najjacomputers.be.

These terms govern the software licence and our support. Paddle is the merchant of record for purchases through Paddle checkout; the seller entity on your receipt handles payment, invoicing and tax. Its buyer terms also apply to that purchase. Mandatory consumer rights take priority over these terms.

Free and Pro

Panic analysis, flashing and firmware, and Apple driver repair are free. Other tools marked Pro require an active subscription or a valid licence issued by us. The feature descriptions and system requirements on the website and in the wiki form part of the product information.

Pro costs €9.99 per month including VAT at the advertised consumer price. Check the total, currency and renewal terms shown in checkout before paying. A monthly subscription renews until cancelled. There is no free Pro trial unless an offer expressly provides one.

Your licence

You receive a non-exclusive licence to use BenchDock, including for authorised professional repair work. A Pro licence permits activation on one Windows PC at a time. Release the previous PC before moving the licence, or contact support if that PC is unavailable. Keep your key private; resale or sharing to evade the activation limit is not permitted.

Activation and renewal require an internet connection. A previously validated Pro licence can remain usable temporarily offline until its signed authorisation expires. Free functions remain available when Pro expires.

Working with devices

Only connect devices and access data that you own or have permission to service. You are responsible for obtaining any consent needed from a device owner and for protecting their data. Make an appropriate backup before any operation that may alter or erase data. Review the operation plan and confirmation in the app.

Diagnostic results are evidence to investigate, not a guarantee that a particular part is faulty. Device, iOS and third-party restrictions can affect available functions. Read the relevant guide before a restore, transfer or recovery operation. These precautions do not remove our responsibility for a defect in the software.

Updates and availability

We may provide compatibility, maintenance and security updates. The production app checks for published updates, shows a notification, and can download and install a verified update when the app closes or you choose to restart. Installation waits while a protected device task or screen session is running.

We supply updates required by applicable consumer law. Changes to an ongoing paid service must have a valid reason, such as security, compatibility or a legal requirement. Where the law requires advance notice or a right to terminate a materially adverse change, those rights apply. A price change does not retroactively alter a period already paid for.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancel renewal using the subscription link in your Paddle receipt or the Paddle customer portal. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; a lawful withdrawal or approved refund can end access earlier.

Our refund policy explains withdrawal, defective digital content and refund requests. We provide no additional voluntary money-back guarantee. Nothing in these terms limits a refund required by law or authorised by Paddle.

Intellectual property and permitted use

BenchDock and its branding remain the property of their respective rights holders. Third-party software remains subject to its own licence notices. Do not redistribute BenchDock as your own product, distribute licence keys or interfere with our licensing service. Restrictions on copying or reverse engineering do not apply to activities that applicable law expressly permits.

BenchDock is an independent product, not an Apple product or an Apple-authorised service. Apple, iPhone and iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Problems, suspension and liability

Contact support with the affected feature, app version and a description of the problem. Do not send device backups or customer data unless support has explained why specific information is needed and you are authorised to share it.

We may suspend Pro access where payment fails or there is substantiated fraud, unlawful use or a serious licence breach. We will explain the reason and provide a way to contest a mistake, except where a legal or security restriction prevents this. A valid refund request is not, by itself, abuse.

We remain responsible where required by law, including for non-conforming digital content or services. These terms do not exclude liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Applicable law

Belgian law applies to our software licence, without depriving consumers of mandatory protection in their country of habitual residence. Consumers retain the courts and complaint procedures available to them by law. Contact us first if you would like us to resolve a problem. Updated terms apply prospectively, with notice and consent where required.
